Welcome, I’m Philippa.

I’m a BACP-registered, neurodivergent counsellor supporting adults (21+) who are exploring, questioning, or coming to terms with a diagnosis of ADHD, AuDHD or autism.
Many of the clients I work with are highly successful, capable, and high-achieving individuals that are now exhausted from years of trying to “fit in.” You might have spent much of your life masking, people-pleasing, or analysing every interaction, and now find yourself completely burnt out, highly anxious, or unsure of who you really are at all.

Therapy with me is a warm and non-judgemental space with another neurodivergent person: we can pause and reflect, understand your experiences without pathologising them, separate what’s truly you from what’s been shaped by others, and to begin creating a life that's authentically yours.

Together we might explore:
• Autistic/ADHD burnout and emotional overwhelm
• Anxiety, shame and rejection sensitivity (RSD)
• High masking, perfectionism and self-criticism
• Family dynamics and parenting as a neurodivergent adult

My approach is neuroaffirming, trauma-aware and grounded in social-justice and anti-oppressive values. I don’t see anyone as broken or in need of fixing. I see people who have learned to survive in the best way they can.
My role is to help you understand yourself differently, develop self-compassion, and move towards a way of being that feels sustainable and authentic.
